TRAILS
The trails here are awesome! In fact, I just wrote an article for FreeHubMag.com about them which will be published later this month! Expect to climb some steep stuff if you want to ride the best trails. However, none of the climbs are very long. The biggest climb is one mile to the top of Coyote Peak. You can find all kinds of trails here, and it's all really close to base camp. Easy, intermediate and advanced trails can be found and nothing will take all day. In fact, most loops are about 45 minutes, so plan to ride more than one bike. That is the point afterall.

We will have our BBQ fired up mid day and our friend Dan from Bassian Farms will be supplying awesome meats. My wife Karen will be the amazing food coordinator, without which, you all would be eating energy bars.

DIRECTIONS
Santa Teresa County Park is located at the southern end of the Santa Teresa Hills. From Santa Clara Valley, take US 101 or Highway 85 to the Bernal Road exit. Proceed west 1.3 miles on Bernal Road and cross Santa Teresa Boulevard toward the Santa Teresa Hills. Bernal Road continues past the park's Santa Teresa Golf Club, winding up into the hills. Turn left into the only left off of Bernal once you've passed the golf course and climbed into the hills. Once you do, you will not be able to miss it. From Trail Head Cyclery, this drive is about 20-25 minutes.

Bring Basic Riding Gear:
Helmet, gloves, shoes for riding, your pedals if you can bring them, pack or saddle bag with a spare tube, tire levers, allen wrenches and a pump.

Cool, that should cover about everything. Feel free to call the shop with any questions.

See you there!
