Howdy Trailheads!

Wow, where to begin! We have a lot going on, so I'll try to be quick. Here are the cliff notes:

  • Lot's of bikes and stuff on SALE.
  • It's true, we are moving this month.
  • A grand Re-Opening.
  • SWAP MEET
  • Dirt Demo
  • Ladies Night

BIG 'OL SALE

We are lazy when it comes to moving. Can you help us out? We put some crazy low prices on a ton of great products! From frames to gloves, forks to shocks, we have great deals to be had. These are not your average things on sale just about everywhere. We have tried and true products Trail Head is known for on sale now, so come on down and help us move some of it. This is the time to save some cash on getting your ride dialed!

MOVING TRAIL HEAD

Finally, we are going to have more space! If all goes as planned, the new shop will be open in March. Highlights of the new shop include;
  1. A larger clothing area with more women's gear, more jerseys, more shoes and accessories than ever.
  2. A new BG FIT area! We are trained in the art of getting the most out of your engine, and now we can fit you in a dedicated area that is not out in the middle of the showroom!
  3. Road bikes! Holy cow, this is huge. Now we have the space to stock a great selection of speedsters, town sherpas, cross bikes and fixies.
  4. All those bikes that were outside? The ones we move in and out every day? Well, they will be inside! Whoohoo! This will make shopping for bikes easier and take less time since we don't have to un-lock 'em to get going on a test ride.
  5. The New Test Ride Area out back is even safer than before with our own back door to access a huge area with no through traffic! Plus, we are building a rocky trail to test suspension on. This is going to be fun!
  6. Our Service Area will be more efficient than ever, making the best use of our space to reduce the amount of down time for your bikes! Plus, our Service Manager's bench will be next to The Lounge.
  7. The Lounge is where you can kick back to watch the latest videos, pour over a map or sit at a stool and watch us work on your bike! Learn a trick or two while we adjust your disc brakes or press in a new King headset. The Lounge is the perfect place to chill while we dial in your ride.
  8. Easy Parking for cars and bikes. We have a big 'ol bike rack out front with a community pump, and a smaller rack in the shop for your trusted steed.
  9. Espresso and deli sandwiches right next door! Family owned and run, this is not your average coffee shop. More like grandma's house with caffeine! And the patio seating out front is an awesome place to start and end your ride!
  10. More space inside. Can't count the reasons why this is cool, but my favorite is the ability to host clinics on everything from basic repair skills to ladies nights.

GRAND RE-OPENING EVENT, March 28th and 29th

Come see the new shop we keep talking about! There will be promotional items from folks like Dakine and Fox, plus wicked new product for 2009 like the long anticipated Yeti Seven. We are handing out free water bottles with any purchase while supplies last, some come early and check it out!

SWAP MEET, March 29th

It's that time again, only this time we have the corner spot! That's right, we will be hosting this event under the merry-go-round at the corner of our super busy Union and Camden Avenues! This is just perfect since our new shop is right there, super easy to see from the road. So start sifting through the garage and create a pile of stuff to sell. Turn it back into cash at the THC 80's Swap Meet. Like, oh my god, like this will be like last time. How totally rad!

DIRT DEMO, May 9th and 10th

It's a ways off, but will be here before ya know it! So mark that crackberry, tab that i-phone, whatever you use to remind you that we will be rocking with over a hundred bikes to demo.
  • When: 5-9 & 5-10, 9am until 3pm
  • Where: Santa Teresa County Park, (same as last November)
  • What: Specialized, Intense, Yeti, Ibis & Santa Cruz

LADIES NIGHT, May 19th

Even further away, but still worthy of the calendar... An evening focused on ladies. More to come as the details develop, but for now I have a wonderful lady named Amy who works in the Designs 4 Women devision of Specialized scheduled to host this clinic at our new shop. Hope to see you ladies there!

Now layer up and go for a ride!
