Ridin' since... '89. I'd been overweight my entire life, and I bought an '88 Nishiki Pueblo because it looked like fun and I thought it might help me lose some weight. I struggled aroud the neighborhood a few times, rode to school once, then, before I knew it, I had a new lifestyle -- and a new body.
What I like most about riding... That ever-elusive flow state, where everything is movement and beauty and peace. I also enjoy kicking ass once in a while.
Where I most like to ride is... In the Bay Area, if we're talking only about legal trails, I'd have to say Resolution to North Leaf in El Corte de Madera. In the world, I'd have to say Whistler and Whistler Bike Park. It's paradise for any kind of riding you want to do: downhill, slalom, jumping or supertech XC.

The one I ride most is my... mighty Enduro!
My next bike will be a... After the Demo 9 arrives (I'm sitting here waiting on the Friday before Sea Otter, tick tock), I'll be dialed for a while. I would enjoy a more XC-oriented Enduro, like the S-Works, because my Enduro is becoming a little DH bike.
What I like most about working for Trail Head... I do the content and design for the Web site. I love working for Lars, John and the gang because they are exceptional people and I believe in their mission. I also race downhill, slalom, 4X and super-D all over the country in the Trail head colors. I'm proud to represent such a great shop.
