Avid makes it easy to get a perfectly set up brake with their innovative CPS Hardware Kit. Each kit features a series of washers that make it easy to set up your brake. Step 1: Install the bolts and washers loosely so the caliper can move. Step 2: Squeeze the brake lever. Step 3: Tighten the bolts. It's that simple to get a rub-free setup! This kit includes stainless steel hardware with washers and bolts for both CPS (Caliper Positioning System) mounting and standard (direct-mount)mounting.
Slip Avid's Rim Wrangler 2 Brake Pad Inserts into your Rim Wrangler 2 cartridges (sold separately) for excellent braking no matter the conditions. The easy-to-use cartridge design makes swapping pads a breeze. They're designed for use with linear-pull brakes.
Choose our 2X remote for your dropper if you don't have enough space for a Triggy under your left side handle bar, for example if you are still running 2-by or 3-by shifting with front derailleur or if you have anoter remote for suspension or e-support. It also features a hinged clamp, that allows snapping your remote onto your handlebars without having to take off grips or brake levers. The clamp is made from a high-tech plastic compound and aluminium. The paddle itself is made from 6061-T6 aluminum, black anodized and finished with a dark anodized BikeYoke logo. Allowing a maximum of 10mm cable pull our 2X is compatible with any known dropper post on the market. The cable/wire is clamped via screw on the lever itself.
Our clever Splits clamp attaches our Triggy directly to the handlebar. Special plastic compounds and production process allow flexibility within the clamp to have it installed, while grips and brakes are still on the bars. Just snap it on! A heat treated inlay made of stainless steel with a laser engraved finish, give it a unique and classy look. By the way: SRAM shifter triggers can also also be attached to the handlebars using our Splits clamp.
Many dropper posts feature remotes, that do not live up to a standard, that you would expect, when paying a lot of money for a dropper post. Even the most expensive droppers out there often come with remotes, that have ridiculous play, are made from plastic, bulky, heavy, or just do not function as they could. The Tech 4 E4 builds on our 25+ years’ experience designing and manufacturing hydraulic brake systems. The Tech 4 uses all new internal sealing for reduced friction and the pivot spins on roller bearings, allowing the spring rate to be reduced. The lower spring rate in turn gives a lighter lever action, reducing rider fatigue and keeping our legendary feel and modulation. The updated E4 caliper utilises hybrid style Stainless steel pistons with a phenolic insert allowing for smoother movement and less maintenance, while still able to manage high temperatures without heat transfer during extreme use.
