After 19 years in a row, our famous spring dirt demo is back and better than ever.

The Dirt Demo days are three days at Santa Teresa park, nearly 100 bikes to try from some of the best brands around, and guaranteed good times. We host this event every spring and fall and invite riders to come out and try the latest and greatest bikes and gear. In addition to our own extensive demo fleet, you’ll be able to try out  bikes and products from brands like Specialized bikes, Yeti Cycles, Transition bikes, and Ibis Cycles. In addition to some amazing bike companies, we’ll have gear and components to test out from Trust Performance, Ride Concepts, Kali, Sram & Rockshox, Troy Lee Designs, and Dakine. Not only is it a chance to ride your dream bike on some local trails, it’s an opportunity to get out and ride some rad trails with your buddies and of course, enjoy some complimentary tacos, snacks, and cold beer.

Whether you’re trying to decide between a Ibis Ripmo or Yeti SB130, want try out a Specialized Turbo Levo for the first time, or just want to get out and ride something new and different than your current bike, we welcome you to come out and enjoy the good times with us. There’s a solid chance you’ll fall in love with one of the great bikes we have to demo so it’s worth mentioning that for this weekend only we offer no sales tax on our bikes and as always, we offer financing on bikes as well. We enjoy this event just as much as our customers do which is why we’ve continued to put on our demo days twice a year after almost two decades. We can’t wait!

Dive into the details below to learn more about the event.

Location:

Santa Teresa County Park. We expect this to be our most popular event to date with nearly 600 attendees over the weekend. Parking will be limited so carpool if you can!

When:

May 3-5th

Friday: 12pm-4pm

Saturday: 9am-4pm

Sunday: 9am-4pm

What to bring:

  • Make sure you bring a valid ID and a matching credit card.

  • Be prepared! Bring a helmet, water bottles/packs, and any other riding gear you would bring along for a normal ride. The trails at Santa Teresa are fairly rocky, it’s better to be safe than sorry!

  • We’ll offer both flat and clipless pedals, but it’s always best to bring your own pedals!

Price:

  • It’s $40 for a day pass. That gets you access to as many bikes as you can ride, snacks, refreshments, and some amazing tacos from an on site taco-truck. We may even have some great stuff to give away as well!

  • New for this year, The Fast Pass! A 3 day pass with the ability to jump to the front of any line and skip waiting to ride the bike of your dreams. This is for those riders that know they’ll be pulling the trigger on a new bike soon and just want to ensure it’s the perfect bike for them before they buy. The price for the fast pass is $600 with $500 going directly towards the purchase of your bike.

Tips:

  • It should be sunny and quite warm, so hydration, proper clothing, and preparedness for a long day in the saddle is highly recommended

  • The trails out at Santa Teresa county park are pretty rocky! We’d advise running higher tire pressures than usual to save yourself a flat tire, no one likes getting flats…

  • There isn’t an online sign up, but do us a favor and head to facebook and show that you are interested or for sure attending. That way we get a better idea of how much food, bikes, and resources to bring.

  • Spread the word! Turn this into a memorable ride day for you and your riding buddies! We also highly recommend carpooling to the event!

For this spring, we’ve outdone ourselves with the amount of companies coming out with products to try out, the value you get for your ticket price, and making sure this event is the best it’s ever been. It’s going to be a great time and we hope to see you out there!
