Marketing Coordinator

We’re looking for a new marketing coordinator for Trail Head Cyclery to oversee all aspects of marketing for the shop. The ideal candidate has a passion for mountain biking and a thorough knowledge of modern mountain bikes, brands, and components. We’re looking for someone that can be the voice and vision of Trail Head Cyclery and be a positive influence in our mountain bike community, both locally and online. 

You’ll play a vital role in promoting our brick & mortar store but also maintaining and growing our online presence through social media and ecommerce. Key aspects of this job include running our social media accounts, creating new content, managing our website in collaboration with our website platform, new product launches, and promoting our shop within our local community.


What you’ll do:

  • Manage all content creation for the shop. Photography, videography, and digital assets 
  • Contribute, edit, and oversee publishing of copy on brand websites, email marketing, social media and other digital platforms
  • create new content for the website in the form of blog posts, landing pages 
  • Work with partner brands on new product releases
  • Work with the sales and service teams and our POS system to promote certain products, services, and inventory
  • Create and implement ads with paid social media platforms, particularly Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads.
  • Review Google Analytics to gauge website presence and performance, ability to adapt to what customers are searching for.
  • Manage communications with customers on social platforms. Respond to questions, comments, inquiries, etc
  • Create compelling content that will get positive engagement towards the shop and what we’re doing. 
  • Own the content calendar, know what products and events are coming up and plan accordingly.


what you’ll need:

  • Knowledge of modern mountain bikes, current trends, and a finger on the pulse of the latest and greatest bikes, gear, trends
  • Equipment: Camera with high quality photo & video capability. Mac OS based computer for work/editing/content management. Adobe creative suite needed. (lightroom, indesign, etc)
  • In short, you in charge of all external-facing content, ensuring consistent tone-of-voice, adherence to brand style guides, and impeccable grammar.
  • An eye for product photography, the details, and ability to produce clean digital assets
  • Familiarity with Mailchimp or other email publishing platforms is a bonus
  • Experience with website builders like squarespace, wix, etc
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools is a bonus, particularly Later.com

Full-Time Sales Position

(Part time also available)


We're looking for someone to join our sales crew and give riders the best possible experience while they're at the shop or interacting with the shop online.

Required Experience:
  • Knowledge of mountain bikes, mountain bike parts, and current trends.
  • Prior retail experience is a huge bonus.
  • Knowing compatibility, technical knowledge, and understanding what bikes work best for different riders is a must.
  • Confidence in communicating with customers over the phone or email. Grammar, punctuation, and manners are a must for writing detailed emails to customers.
  • Will be helping process online orders and making sure products get ordered or shipped out.
  • Willingness to follow our work order/ordering procedures so things flow smoothly between sales and service departments.
  • Must be local, unfortunately this is not a remote job.
  • A good person with a positive attitude, someone who loves to ride just as much as we do. We're a solid crew and we enjoy our shared camaraderie.
  • Sharing your stoke for bikes with customers.

Full-Time Experienced Mechanic
(Part time also available)

You'll be a key part of our service crew and be instrumental in making sure bikes get the love they need. Will be scheduled 5-days per week with somewhat flexible hours. We currently have tons of bikes coming through the shop so you'll have plenty of work to do.

Required Experience:
  • Several years experience working in a bike shop as a mechanic, or experience working on your own mountain bikes.
  • Must have experience with modern mountain bikes. Servicing suspension, bleeding hydraulic brakes, drive train setup, pivot overhauls, etc.
  • Experience with other types of bikes is a huge plus. Road bikes, cruisers, kid's bikes, etc
  • Staying organized and following our work order system is vital to keeping our service department flowing smoothly.
  • Current knowledge of mountain bike trends, bike parts, spec choices.
  • Someone that prides themselves on doing things the right way.
  • A good person with a positive attitude, someone who loves to ride just as much as we do. We're a solid crew and we enjoy our shared camaraderie.
