So we made sure these 31.8mm handlebars play nicely with modern geos. With 10° back sweep and 5° upsweep, the Range: KW Edition helps put your shoulder blades in a more neutral position while reducing wrist fatigue and discomfort. Inspired by pro rider Kyle Warner's search for the best cockpit configuration, the Range now features 2014 Aluminum Alloy. 2014 is a trail-friendly material, resembling carbon's chatter-absorbing qualities in a more cost-conscious and durable package. A few years back we started playing around with wider bars on our mountain bikes. Trendy? Yes. Beneficial? Absolutely. It wasn't simply the idea to go big, but a deeper look at the geometry of a mountain bike. Through this, we discovered that wider bars had a few killer benefits: more stability, further control, and extra comfort.  As we began designing the Coast Drop Bar, these lessons of the wide MTB bar intrigued us. Does a wider drop-bar provide extra stability and control? Why yes, yes it does.
